This is the second session of a two-part workshop event. The first session is on February 11, 2023 at the same time and location!
Are you the one to record your family’s history and preserve it for generations to come? Join us to get a road map of this process from Betsy Wakefield Teter, who has recently compiled two illustrated history books about her family lines. This four-hour workshop over two Saturdays will point you to resources to uncover facts about your ancestors you might not have known. More importantly, it will help you organize your material into an accessible narrative that can be enjoyed by others.
Betsy Wakefield Teter, a former newspaper journalist with a 25-year career in publishing, is the author of Wakefield’s Beginning: One Family’s Story in America and The Townsends of Cokesbury and Ninety-Six. She is the former executive director of the Hub City Writers Project.
