Rebecca Landau named as editing fellow
Rebecca Landau of Hendersonville, N.C. is the recipient of the fall 2014 Michael C. Curtis editing fellowship at Hub City Press, which is sponsored by the Converse College Creative Writing Master of Fine Arts program. An aspiring novelist, Rebecca will work with Hub City Press this fall to manage and read submissions, proof copy, and help market Hub City programs.
Rebecca received her MFA in June 2014 and serves as artistic director of South 85 journal, selecting work for publication and redesigning the online site for the Converse College literary journal. She also serves as a communications assistant at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville.
She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. While at VCU she was the executive editor of The Commonwealth Times, the independent student press. She has also been a bookseller at Barnes & Noble.
