"New terrain is a beautiful thing. The Writers House Program feels like that kind of special opportunity that so many young authors fantasize about, yet seldom or never have the privilege to experience. The thrill of a new community, the excitement of new landscape, the chance to meet other writers and share ideas about art and life in general--all these are terribly attractive and worth anticipating."
