Katherine Webb is an educator, literary editor, and an award-winning journalist covering culture, art, and politics, often reporting longform stories on the ways regressive laws impact the material reality of people's everyday lives in the South. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, Longreads, the Bitter Southerner, the Nation, Audubon Magazine, and elsewhere. A long-time editor for Scalawag Magazine, Katherine is Hub City’s development editor. She lives in Alabama with her spouse, two children, and a scruffy pup.
